Rosemary Beach, FL –The chic coastal town of Rosemary Beach, FL, located along Scenic Hwy. 30-A, will host the second annual “Rosemary Beach Uncorked,” a culinary and wine pairing event taking place on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Caring and Sharing of South Walton County, a volunteer group which provides food and assistance to locals in need.
Eight Rosemary Beach restaurants will each prepare three signature dishes to pair with six selected wines, for a total of 24 gourmet food and 48 boutique wine pairings. Participating restaurants are Amavida Coffee, Courtyard Wine & Cheese, Cowgirl Kitchen, La Crema Tapas & Chocolate, Onano Neighborhood Café, Restaurant Paradis, Summer Kitchen and Wild Olives Market/Bakery/Deli. Participants are invited to visit each restaurant in the order of their choice during the designated four-hour event time frame.
Advance tickets are $75 per person and may be purchased online at RosemaryBeachUncorked.com. Door tickets also will be available for $95 per person.
Getting to Rosemary Beach is more convenient than ever. Southwest Airlines now offers daily, non-stop flights into the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL (a quick 20 minutes from Rosemary Beach!) from Baltimore, Orlando, Houston, and Nashville. The airline also offers semi-direct flights from Chicago, New York, Dallas and Ft. Lauderdale.
In addition, Vision Airlines is now providing direct service into Northwest Florida Regional Airport, located in Valparaiso, FL (about an hour from Rosemary Beach) from Asheville, Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Chattanooga, Columbia, Greenville-Spartanburg, Knoxville, Huntsville, Little Rock, Louisville, Miami, Niagara Falls, Orlando, Ft Myers/Punta Gorda, Savannah, Shreveport and Tampa/St. Petersburg.
